Allsorts Challenge 7

Sooooooooooooooo sorry that I have not been a very good blogger lately - been busy settling into my new job but things should start to calm down a little now and allow me some 'free' time to get back to joining in some challenges and keeping my blogging buddies up to date with what's going on. Luckily I did find some time to create my DT project for this week on the Allsorts challenge blog. This week it was Jackie's turn to choose and the theme is 'to use acetate somewhere on your project'. As you all probabaly know by now I adore butterflies so I have used another butterfly stamp on my project. Hope you like it. Don't forget to check who won last week's super prize and who has been awarded the 'top 5' by Brenda. Also check out the other fabulous projects created by the talented DT members.

Have a great day.

Allsorts Challenge - week 6

Good morning folks - well what a fantastic week we had a Allsorts this week - not only some super entries but Brenda has her birthday coming up and Sir Stampalot has offered a Quickcutz Squeeze to this week's challenge winner - WOW how fantastic is that!!!!

So I hear you say how do I get the chance to win such a super prize????? Well, the theme that Brenda has chosen this week is 'WINGS' - that could be interpreted anyway you like - birds, butterflies, angels, dragonflies, even aeroplanes so it's entirely up to you to get as creative as you want. Can't wait to see what you all come up with - but remember to have some fun!!!!
This is my DT project - my favourite - Butterflies.

Don't forget to pop over to have a look at the other wonderful projects that the DT have come with to help inspire - and to check out who won Gro's triangle challenge last week and who was the Top5.
Soooooooo much to do today as I have been away all week training for my new job - hope you have a great day.

Allsorts Challenge - WEEK 5

WOW - We had a great response to Lisa's 'Pink & White' challenge last week - thanks to all of you. There were some fantastic projects and once again it will be very difficult for Lisa to make a decision on the TOP 5 to be announced later - also don't forget to check back to see who won the scrummy candy - it could be you!!!
This week it is Gro's choice for the challenge and Gro has chosen 'Triangles'. Gro would like to see you use triangles in your project and for me nothing screams christmas trees more than triangles so hence my project this week is a Christmas card with loads of 'triangular' trees.
Why not pop over to the Allsorts blog and have a look at the other superb DT projects.
We are all looking forward to seeing some more fantastic projects from you.
Off to Jack's school fair now - so have a great day everyone.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge #4

Hurrahhhh I managed to get another challenge card made this evening!!! This one is for the Trimmie's C.R.A.F.T challenge blog which has a recipe theme this week:
3 Flowers, 2 Papers & 1 Ribbon

I love these papers by Amy Butler for K&Co they are a superb quality. The flowers are from Petaloo and the image needs no introduction - but it is this one's first outing for me - such a 'Gorjuss Goth' - coloured with Copics.

Hope you like it - all comments gratefully received.

Thanks for popping by.

Cupcake Challenge & Sketch Saturday

Well I never thought I would get to do any more challenge cards this week as I have been busy making various things for Jack's school fair tomorrow.
But I decided that after making 10 note books this morning I would have a play and create something just for fun and the colours scheme over at Cupcake challenge blog screamed ice cream & fun to me. I thought I would combine it with the sketch over at Sketch Saturday (just getting that in on time lol!!) in fact in order to make sure it is in on time I have photographed it before the glossy accents has dried!!!! Might come back & update the photo later!!!!
(Photo updated with dried Glossy Accents !!!!!)
So here's what I came up with:

The image and sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and I have used Copics colour them. The glittery striped card is from QVC. Ribbons, flowers, brads and gems are from my stash.
Thanks for popping by.
Oh by the way, here are the note books that I made earlier this morning:

A Sneaky Peek

Good afternoon, I thought I would tease you with a 'sneaky peek' at my DT project for the Allsorts challenge for this Saturday lol!!! Any ideas what you think the theme is going to be?
Don't forget to check the Allsorts blog on Saturday when all will be revealed!!!
Anyway - gotta dash - lots still to do to get ready for Jack's summer fair.

The Crafty Pad Challenge

This is my entry for the sketch challenge over at the Crafty Pad challenge blog this week. I have used Debz gorgeous butterfly stamp - which I stamped onto some K&Co craft paper and then embossed with irridescent embossing powder - you can just about see the sparkle. I also inked the mat & embossed with the same powder - in real life it is quite gorgeous - but you can never get the same result on a photo - well I can't anyway lol!!!
Hope you like it.

A Few Father's Day Cards!!!!

Today I have been mainly making a few Father's Day cards and some other cards ready for my youngest son's school fair on Saturday. I love the papers used on the Father's Day cards - they are by Amy Butler for K&Co and I got the pad of 36 12"x12" double sided pages at my local craft shop for only £7.95 - I thought that was such a bargain - they are a beautiful quality.

I counted up how many cards I have made in total for the school fair over the past few weeks - and I have to say that even I was gobsmacked - there are over 100!!!!!
Hope the weather stays nice and that the peeps like my cards enough to purchase them lol!!!!
Away ti have a cuppa now - think I've earnt it today.
Thanks for popping by.

The theme this week over at TPE is 'Pink, Brown & White' - a lovely combination - really scrummy together.
This is my entry for the challenge. These papers are delicious -from 'My Mind's Eye'
The flowers are from Petaloo.
I stamped the butterflies onto some of the spotty paper and cut them out. The stamps are from The Crafty Pad.
The 'bling' rhinestones are by Kaiser.

The theme this week over at the Trimmie C.R.A.F.T challenge blog is to create something for Father's Day using the colours 'Blue & Brown'

I saw this idea in a craft mag and thought I would give it a go.

Allsorts Challenge week 4

Thanks to everyone that took part in last week's challenge - with so many lovely entries it will be difficult for Kirsten to choose just 5 to be awarded with the Top 5 logo.
All the DT are really thrilled at how the blog has been received and how many of you lovely bloggers are joining in the fun - a huge thank you to you all.
The theme this week is 'Pink & White' - chosen by Lisa and with such a 'girly' theme it screamed out 'Gorjuss Girls' to me so here is my DT project.

Hope you like it.

Got family with me this weekend, my boys have the birthdays next Tuesday & Wednesday and are going on holiday on Monday, so probably won't be about much in blogland until then.

Have a great weekend - looking forward to seeing your fantastic projects for this week's theme.

Cheeky Monkeys & my Sons' (x2) Birthdays

Although Jamie & Aaron are 26 & 24 respectively next week, they are still my two cheeky monkeys to me - hence the cards I have made for their birthdays lol!!!
This one fits in with the sketch over at Friday Sketchers this week
And this one is perfect for Aaron - as he is always on the computer!!!

The images are digi stamps that I downloaded from Dustin Pike's blog - thank you so much for the wonderful images - they are just perfect.

Papertake Weekly Challenge #16

Good morning everyone. Off to a bright start this morning with the first challenge card of the day. This one is for the sketch over at PTW this week.

The swirly papers are from CCSR matted onto silver mirror card & black cardstock and then onto a white base card. The image is an acrylic stamp I bought yesterday from a local craft shop for the grand total of £1.00!!!!!! I have added faux stitching around the edges.
Thanks for popping by. Will be back later with some more - no doubt lol!!! Must do some (housework) first sshhhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone!
