Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Brrrrrrr who turned down the heating last night - it's freeeezzzing here in Gloucestershire this morning but at least the sun is shining - perfect weather for a brisk walk and that's exactly what I will be doing with my DH this lunchtime.

But before that I thought I would pop by with one of the Easter card designs I made for my MiL recently - I will have a few more to share with you over the next few days.

I used one of the gorgeous Clearly Besotted stamps I treated myself to for this design - and made 4 of these - I think 4 is about my limit before I get bored of the same design lol!!!

Card Ingredients:
Image & Sentiment: Clearly Besotted 'You are Wonderful'
Colouring Medium: Copics
Gingham Design Paper
MFT Scalloped Border die
Spun Sugar Distress Ink
Adhesive Pearls from The Hobby House

J'adore 'Amore' at All Dressed Up

Good evening my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you had a fabulous weekend and that you spent some special time with your loved ones.
I had a quiet weekend - just me and my DH as Jack was spending some special time making memories with his girlfriend - young love - nothing like it :o)

So today I would like to share the special card I made for my Valentine - that also doubles as my DT make for the new challenge over at

ALL DRESSED UP

I knew as soon as I saw this image - Amore - available from Wendy's Easy shop that it would be the perfect image for my Valentine card this year:
I kept the layout and embellishments fairly simple - well it is for a man after all lol!!!!
Just a couple of bling hearts and a touch of Glamour Dust - which doesn't really show up on the photos but is sparkly IRL :o)
The gorgeous Design Papers are from Pink Petticoat 'Old Fashioned Girl' - unfortunately no longer available as Liz has now closed her boutique but they are my go to collection for Valentine and general Anniversary cards for the one I love.

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the stunning inspiration from my new Dressy Girls DT buddies - you definitely won't be disappointed.

Friendship

Good afternoon my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you are having a good week.

I had a fabulous day yesterday catching up with two of my lovely DT buddies - Kat and Sue over tea and cake in Cheltenham.

Today I thought I would share the little gifts I made for each of them now that they have been received - and I think they liked them :o)

One in blue:
And of course one in pink:
I used a couple of blank MDF plaques - they measure 15cm x 5cm
Painted with chalky finish paint and then I used a crackle medium and painted with contrast chalk paint - really should have taken a photo of the reverse that shows the crackle effect - doh!!!

I papered the front side and then added some vintage lace, pearl string and some pretty floral details and of course the fabulous 'Friendship' sentiment - die cut using MFT pierced squares and inked with Distress Ink before taking out of the die to give a soft colour effect but keeping the border white.

Thanks for popping by.
Have a fabulous day.
