A Truly Amazing Day

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Hope your weekend has got off to a great start.

As most of you know (I may have mentioned it just a few times recently) my eldest son got married on Friday and as promised I am here to share a few (ahem!!!) photos with you.

But first I thought I would share the card and matching box I made for the beautiful happy couple:

So here are a FEW of my favourites photos from the day:

I can't express how proud I felt all day - I love my family with all my heart and soul.
It was a truly fabulous day - the weather was gorgeous and everyone was so happy.

And here are a few photos of some of the stationery I made for the happy couple:

Sorry if I have bored you with all the photos!!!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Anything Goes at The Sugar Bowl

Good morning my lovely crafty friends

Before I post my DT make for the new challenge over at

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your lovely comments left yesterday - I have some truly lovely friends that have stuck by me and my little blog even though I have been such a bad blogger lately - and that means such a lot - THANK YOU :o)
Life will get back to 'normal' very soon I'm sure.

So today I have another DT share and this time it's a card I made for my Great-Niece's recent birthday using an adorable Sugar Nellie FF digi image - available here
Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the gorgeous inspiration from my lovely DT buddies - you won't be disappointed :o)

So it's 'Wedding Eve' day and my tummy is doing little flips every now and again.
I hope to stay calm by having some pampering and then a little light retail therapy.

I promise I will be back with some photos of the Big Day really soon.

Have a fabulous day.

It Will Soon be Here at Papertake Weekly

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you are well and those not I wish well soon.

I still seem to be running around like a chicken without a head at the minute - but things will hopefully get back to 'normal' very soon as my eldest son gets married THIS FRIDAY!!!!!!!

I am getting really excited but also getting very emotional - I tried my outfit on again last week and immediately burst into tears - then finished making their wedding day card and again burst into tears - I just hope I am not a total blubbering wreck on the day!!!!

Anyway the real reason I'm here is to share my DY make for the new challenge that started yesterday over at

PAPERTAKE WEEKLY

and this week the theme is

IT WILL SOON BE HERE
(not my son's wedding - Christmas lol!!!)

Here's what I did using one of my many hardly used Christmas stamps from last year:

I created a circle aperture so I could ink through to get a soft inky background - I also used a punched circle to create the moon before inking.
Seam Binding, Snowflake Charm and Button Twine from stash

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the gorgeous inspiration from my lovely DT buddies.

I'll be back very soon with another DT make.
Thanks for popping by to see me.
I really hope to catch up with you all very soon.
Have a fabulous day.

Another Special Card for Another Special Person

Good evening my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you've had a wonderful week.

Mine didn't go quite to plan as my squidgilicious Grandson Oliver ended up being sick when he arrived at school on his first day and was sent home and asked not to come back until Monday so I was on Grandma duties as Mum was working. Not sure whether he had a bug or if it was nerves but he was as happy as larry when he got to my house :o)

So this evening I would like to share another special card for another special person - my scrummilicious Granddaughter Lola Arizona who will be having her first day at school next Thursday. Hopefully she won't have a sickness bug or nerves on the day!!!
