Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Hope you're having a good week.
Mine has been mixed but hoping it improves from tomorrow as it's my birthday - yipppeeee :o)

Unfortunately though I will be spending most of it on my own as my DH is in Leeds looking after his Mum who is going into hospital today for a minor Op and needs someone to be at home with her later today. And of course Jack will be at school.
But I do know that Aaron has plans to take me out later in the evening and then on Saturday we have a family meal booked with all the girls and all the boys and of course my adorable Grandchildren :o)

So today I'm here to share my DT make for the new challenge over at

and this fortnight you can chose to be either

FUSSY AND FANCY
or
CLEAN AND SIMPLE

But whichever you decide - you must make it PINK please.

I went down the CAS route and here's what I came up with

I started by embossing some white card using That Special Touch Mask 'Delicate' and then inked over the embossed areas whilst the card was still in the mask.
Then I die cut the diagonal strip with Sue Wilson Diagonals Heart Collection.
I took a strip of pink card and covered it with a double sided adhesive sheet and then added Stampendous Irrisdescent Glitter - so blingalicious :o)
Mat and layered onto pink card and finished with some white organza ribbon and pink pearl bead string.
The adorable image is Pink Gem Designs Chloe with Cupcake (sssshhh don't tell anyone but I think of all Janet's adorable little ladies Chloe is my favourite)
Colouring Medium: Copics
Sentiment: Tonic Studios

The prize as always is:

2 Individual Digi images

I Can Sing A Rainbow at Sweet Stampin'

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you are well and those not I wish well soon.

Have you any nice plans for the weekend?
We are taking Jack to open his first proper bank account.

My DH took Jack at the beginning of half term and spent 2 hours traipsing round trying to find a branch that had a 'trained colleague' available - but not one branch of any of the High Street banks had any trained staff!!!

Then it t took just over 3 weeks to be able to get an appointment - what's that all about!!!!

Back in the day when I worked in banking peeps just walked in off the street and there was always someone available to open an account for them - if they had the right documentation with them.

Anyway rant over the real reason I'm here is to share the first of my DT makes for today and this one is for the new challenge over at

Twinkle Twinkle at Winter Wonderland

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

This is another scheduled post - so fingers crossed Mr Blogger is playing as nicely as he did yesterday.
And the reason it's scheduled is because I am currently enjoying a relaxing session at the hairdressers. Having my hair done really does make me feel totally relaxed - love it!!!

Not that that was the case yesterday when my hairdryer literally blew up in my hands - what a shock that was!!! Still as my DH said - maybe a birthday present opportunity :o)

Thank you for all the lovely Happy Birthday wishes for my squidgilicious Grandson Oliver earlier in the week. I'm thrilled to report that he loved his Gruffalo card and all his Gruffalo gifts - I would have loved to be able to share some photos of the birthday boy with this post - but 'silly Grandma' (in Oliver's words) left her iPad where the photos are at Oliver's house and although he will be here for playtime today it won't be until after this post has gone live - so I guess I'll share them another day :o)
