Photo Inspiration for In the Pink

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Can you believe it's nearly the weekend again!!!
I have mixed feelings about this weekend - not looking forward to it in one way as Jack is going to Las Vegas for 10 days with his girlfriend and her Mum - and although he's a pain in the backside sometimes I will really miss him :o(
But on the other hand it's both Aaron and Jamie's birthdays - Aaron on Friday and Jamie on Saturday so that will be something to enjoy :o)

Then my sister and her husband are coming to stay for a few days and we have some nice treats booked for that - including a girlie spa day and then the theatre so I guess that will help take my mind off missing Jack.

Anyway enough rambling on I'm really here to share my DT make for the new challenge over at

and this time we have a fabulous photo for you to take some inspiration from

And here's what I came up with - this was for my snuggalicious Granddaughter Ruby Mae's 3rd birthday - from Uncle Jack
Card Ingredients:
Design Papers: Doodlebug 'Sugar Shoppe'
Colouring Medium: Copics and Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the gorgeous inspiration from my lovely DT buddies.

Such A 'Gorjuss' Happy Birthday

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Hope you're enjoying the weekend and the fabulous weather we are having - well it has been fabulous here in Gloucestershire :o)

I've had a brilliant week spending lots of time with ALL of my beautiful Grandchildren - will share some photos at the end of this post but first I thought I would share one of the cards I made for my snuggalicious Granddaughter Ruby Mae who celebrated her 3rd birthday yesterday.
I love this pretty colour combo and that adorable 'Gorjuss' Girl

So yesterday Ruby had her debut live ballet performance at the Bradley Stoke Community Festival

How adorable!!!!

Then of course there was birthday cake
(this isn't her proper birthday cake - as that is being saved for her Garden Party today)

and this is what Ruby wanted for her birthday - Rapunzel Dress and Doll

And here are all my beautiful Grandchildren in the back of Granddad's car on our way to the park to play

What a fabulous week!!!

So hopefully I'll get time to play catch up with you all later this evening as we have Ruby's Birthday Garden Party to attend this afternoon.

Thanks for popping by and for all your continued support.

Have a wonderful day.

Always Follow Your Dreams

Good evening my lovely crafty friends.

Hope you've had a good weekend.

Mine didn't go quite to plan - we did get the jobs in the garden done but then we had a surprise visit from Aaron, Kerry and my squidgilicious Grandson Oliver so we made the most of the sunshine and stayed outside - much better than clearing out wardrobes any day!!!

Not much chance of getting them done over the next few days either as my snuggalicious Granddaughter Ruby Mae is coming to stay for a couple of days :o)

And my DH is away visiting his brother in the Lakes so I guess I will have to wait until Friday when he's back.

Anyway I did have a little play with some more MDF and this is what I would like to share with you today
Ingredients Used:

MDF Fairy Door from The Wood Barn
Americana Deco Chalky Paint in Innocence and Everlasting White
Americana Decor Crackle Medium
Laser Cut Sentiment from Noor Designs UK
Flutterby made using Martha Stewart mould and clay
Flowers and pearls spray from stash

Pretty Birthday Wishes

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Hope you have something nice planned for the Bank Holiday weekend - I think we are just going to potter around the garden sorting out pots etc - subject to weather of course.

But we also have an indoor job sorting out wardrobes and cupboards ready for our new carpet fitting a week on Monday - I can hardly wait - we have had bare concrete floor in the hall and downstairs cloakroom for nearly 4 weeks now - so it will feel luxurious when the new carpet goes down.
And the reason we are sorting to the wardrobes is because we are having new carpet in the main bedroom and the front guest bedroom - including into the built-in wardrobes.

I do love a good clear out and tidy up - especially when it's finished lol!!!

Anyway I thought I would share this sweet little card I made for my scrummilicious Granddaughter Lola Arizona - who had her 5th birthday last Sunday - this was for my MiL to send
Love the gorgeous colours and foiling of this fabulous paper pad from Trimcraft - called 'Pick n Mix' I bought it to use for a recent magazine commission (not due out for a couple of months).
Image: LOTV Art Pad - sadly discontinued - but I still have sooooooo many unused :o)
Pretty flowers from AMD and The Hobby House

Thanks for popping by.
Have a fabulous weekend.
I'll be playing catch up later whilst watching the final of BGT.

It's Easy as 1 2 3 at In the Pink

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

I can hardly believe that it's Thursday already - and nearly the end of May - where does the time go!!!

So as it's Thursday that means it's time for a new challenge over at

and this time our fabulous theme is

1- 2 - 3

So simply make a project featuring 1 of something 2 of something else and then 3 of something else - with the main colour being PINK of course!

I decided to make another paper embroidery hoop plaque:

1 Sentiment
2 Flutterbys
3 Flowers
Our sponsor this fortnight is

Friends are like Stars

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Another sun-shiney day here this morning - hope it lasts :o)
Although it does show all the dust and finger prints - especially those of little sticky fingers all over my patio windows - guess what I'll be doing later lol!!!!

So today I thought I'd share another piece of Home Decor I made at the weekend
This started as a square block of MDF - approx. 10cm x 10cm which I painted using chalk paint and then crackled the back and distressed the sides. The front I covered with a piece of dotty design paper before adding the Tattered Lace Starlight Square die cut frame - which I cut and layered two times.
I stamped the Inkylicious sentiment and then die cut using a MFT die from one of the Blueprints set and inked around the edge with Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans distress inks.
Finishing with a few pearl stars.

This was super quick and simple - think I might make a few more in various colours ready for a Craft Fayre I have booked at the beginning of July.

Right I'm off to clean those windows and then have a play in my little crafty haven.

Thanks for popping by.

Have a fabulous day.
