Pretty Birthday Wishes

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Hope you have something nice planned for the Bank Holiday weekend - I think we are just going to potter around the garden sorting out pots etc - subject to weather of course.

But we also have an indoor job sorting out wardrobes and cupboards ready for our new carpet fitting a week on Monday - I can hardly wait - we have had bare concrete floor in the hall and downstairs cloakroom for nearly 4 weeks now - so it will feel luxurious when the new carpet goes down.
And the reason we are sorting to the wardrobes is because we are having new carpet in the main bedroom and the front guest bedroom - including into the built-in wardrobes.

I do love a good clear out and tidy up - especially when it's finished lol!!!

Anyway I thought I would share this sweet little card I made for my scrummilicious Granddaughter Lola Arizona - who had her 5th birthday last Sunday - this was for my MiL to send
Love the gorgeous colours and foiling of this fabulous paper pad from Trimcraft - called 'Pick n Mix' I bought it to use for a recent magazine commission (not due out for a couple of months).
Image: LOTV Art Pad - sadly discontinued - but I still have sooooooo many unused :o)
Pretty flowers from AMD and The Hobby House

Thanks for popping by.
Have a fabulous weekend.
I'll be playing catch up later whilst watching the final of BGT.

It's Easy as 1 2 3 at In the Pink

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

I can hardly believe that it's Thursday already - and nearly the end of May - where does the time go!!!

So as it's Thursday that means it's time for a new challenge over at

and this time our fabulous theme is

1- 2 - 3

So simply make a project featuring 1 of something 2 of something else and then 3 of something else - with the main colour being PINK of course!

I decided to make another paper embroidery hoop plaque:

1 Sentiment
2 Flutterbys
3 Flowers
Our sponsor this fortnight is

offering 1 winner $10 to spend online

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the pretty in pink inspiration from my lovely DT buddies.

Friends are like Stars

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Another sun-shiney day here this morning - hope it lasts :o)
Although it does show all the dust and finger prints - especially those of little sticky fingers all over my patio windows - guess what I'll be doing later lol!!!!

So today I thought I'd share another piece of Home Decor I made at the weekend
This started as a square block of MDF - approx. 10cm x 10cm which I painted using chalk paint and then crackled the back and distressed the sides. The front I covered with a piece of dotty design paper before adding the Tattered Lace Starlight Square die cut frame - which I cut and layered two times.
I stamped the Inkylicious sentiment and then die cut using a MFT die from one of the Blueprints set and inked around the edge with Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans distress inks.
Finishing with a few pearl stars.

This was super quick and simple - think I might make a few more in various colours ready for a Craft Fayre I have booked at the beginning of July.

Right I'm off to clean those windows and then have a play in my little crafty haven.

Thanks for popping by.

Have a fabulous day.

A Couple of Gamer Cards for My Mum's Craft Shop

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

The sun is shining here in Gloucestershire today - doesn't that just make you feel great :o)

Today I'm here to share some inspiration for those tricky male cards using some fabulous stamps and dies from

This set is just perfect for any of my 3 sons and these two cards will be for Jamie and Aaron whose birthdays are next month - loving being so organised - I wonder how long that will last lol!!!!
For the background I embossed with a Crafter's Companion Textures Embossing Folder then inked over with Creative Expressions Colour Cloud and then rubbed over some Gilding Wax.
The FABULOUS game controller is from this set

currently out of stock but sure to be restocked soon
I drew around the outside of the dies to create a mat and layer - and I chose to do it in white and gold as Aaron had a custom controller made for Jack for Christmas last year in those colours and this card will be from Jack to Aaron for his birthday.
For this card I used the same stamp and die set together with MFT Blueprints 15
and the Design Paper is from this paper pad.

I'll be back later with another piece of Home Decor I completed yesterday.

Thanks for popping by.

I'm off to have a little bloggy catch up.

Have a fabulous day.

Wishing you a Beautiful Day

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Well the sun is shining here this morning in Gloucestershire and I'm keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way - hoping to get outside to do some ironing - it somehow always seems to make that 'chore' that bit easier :o)

So today I thought I'd share another one of the demos I did for

on Create and Craft
I started with two 6x6 base cards and trimmed each one diagonally in half on the front and then adhere the backs to each other to create a cries cross front.

Then I simply mat and layered with gorgeous pearl shimmer card and the stunning patterned papers from The Sentiment Toppers and Patterned Papers kit - this design is from the 'Treasure' range - so gorgeous!!!

The toppers are also from the Treasure range in the kit - although they are die cut already I also die cut them to better suit and fit my mat and layer die cuts from Spellbinders Blossom set.

Some Pearls Strings and some pretty flowers - the Pearl Roses were originally white and I coloured them with a Copic pen to match.

Finishing with a few Adhesive Pearls and a touch of sparkle to the Boutique Daisies - I just swooshed some glue gel on the petals with my finger and then dusted with Glamour Dust.

Thanks for popping by and for all your lovely comments and support.

Have a fabulous day.
