Challenge #146 at Sketch n Stash

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
What a gorgeous day it was yesterday - so nice to have the sunshine pay a visit. It gave us the chance to get outside and have a mega tidy up of the front garden - the hedges now look a bit bare - but we did the same last year and we know they grow back in full bloom and they do look so neat and tidy now.
The sky doesn't look so happy today however, so I think it will be a crafty day in my little crafty haven - got lots of Festive makes to get on with for a number of Christmas Craft Fayres I have booked starting in November.

So today sees the start of a new challenge over at

and this fortnight we have a fabulous sketch to work with

So I had a play with some of my new LOTV stash I bought at the GBCF last month before I went on holiday and this is what I came up with:

Spellbinders: Fleur De Lis Squares
Brads from stash
Diamond Stickles
Wink of Stella 'Clear'

Girl and Snowman Easel Card for The Stamp Basket

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Hope your weekend has got off to a good start.
I had a lovely day with Ruby Mae yesterday - she is soooooo cute - but I am biased :o)

Today I'm here with my usual Sunday morning inspiration using some scrummy stash from

and this week I have made an easel card - love these cards and I haven't made one for a while :o)

I have used one of the new Wild Rose Studio Christmas release stamps 'Girl and Snowman' and some new Wild Rose Studio Christmas Design Papers 'Frosted Lace'

Card Ingredients:
Colouring Medium: 'Copics'
Design Paper: WRS 'Frosted Lace'
Die Cuts: Joy Crafts 'Winter Wishes - Ice Crystals'

I added some Viva Decor Ice White pearl pen on the 'fur trim' to give it some texture and then added some Crystal Glamour Dust over the top before it dried to give it some fabulous sparkle.
The sparkle on the snowman is from a Wink of Stella clear pen.

Have a fabulous crafty day.

Happy Birthday at Divas by Design

Good morning my lovely crafty crafty friends.
I've only been back from my holiday for 3 days and already it feels like I've not been away!!
Suitcases are unpacked, washing is done (still have the dreaded ironing to do - but holding out for a little bit of sunshine so I can do it outside lol!!!), DH back to work and only a few days of the school holidays left for Jack.
Still got to get Jack's school uniform sorted - but need to get him out of bed first - typical teenage boy - leaves everything until last minute!!!

Anyway I'm here with another DT share today and this time it's for

and the theme this week is

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I made another 80th birthday card using a gorgeous pre-coloured LOTV Art Pad image.

The card stock I have used for the die cuts and mat and layering is actually a dark green but looks black in these photos!!!

Super quick post today - still got lots to do.
Thanks for popping by.

I'm Back and I'm a Cover Girl!!!

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Just popping by to let you know that I'm back from my fabulous summer holiday - we had a wonderful relaxing time - gorgeous weather and fabulous food.
Will share some photos another day - when I have got myself sorted and have got them uploaded onto my laptop!!!

But I just needed to share this most exciting news with you

I was thrilled (slight understatement) to see my card on the FRONT COVER of the latest Papercraft Inspirations magazine - issue 130
Inside there is a double page spread showing another three cards I made using the gorgeous Elisabeth Bell toppers and scrummy stash from The Hobby House

What an honour to have this opportunity - thank you so much Jill and Papercraft Inspirations.
You have made one of my crafty dreams come true.

Just a few MDF pieces :o)

Some scrummy LOTV stash :o)

A few stamps and some bargainlicious Kaisercraft large word rub-ons
A re-stock on some adhesive pearls
Spellbinders pokey tool and die cleaning brush - looking forward to putting that bad boy into action!!!
Some essential glues and snow 3D snow

And finally a Crafter's Companion goody bag - for the amazing price of £10!!!

So that's it from me for two weeks as I have decided for the first time since starting my blog just over 5 years ago to not schedule any posts whilst I'm away this time.
I shall be spending most of my time for the next two weeks here:

Thank you for your friendship and support - I hope you don't forget about me whilst I'm away.
See you all in two weeks.

Happy Birthday Bella for The Stamp Basket

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
A super quick Sunday morning inspiration share for

from me today as I am just about to finish packing for my jolly holibobs - we fly later this evening :o)

So with time being short this week I decided to make a nice and simple card using one of the adorable pre-coloured Wild Rose Studio 'Bella Paper Panels'

Perfect for a card in a hurry and this was - I nearly forgot that it will be my youngest Great Niece's 3rd birthday when we are away and I needed to get this made and posted before we left.

Card Ingredients:
Flowers: Fussy cut from WRS 'Blossom Burst' Die

Thanks for popping by to see me today.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
