Anything Goes at The Sugar Bowl

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Don't fall over but I have another DT make to share with you today and this time it's for the new challenge over at

and as always the theme is the very simple

ANYTHING GOES

I decided to use this uber adorable 'Little Bit of Gossip' digi image - available here  to make a cute birthday card for my niece's little girl Jasmine who celebrated her 3rd birthday earlier this month.

Card Ingredients:

Image: Sugar Nellie 'A Little Bit of Gossip'
Colouring Medium: Copics
Embossed Background: Crafter's Companion Embossalicious 'Florabunda'
Die Cut Background: Tonic 'Just For You' Pansy Topper Die Set #170e
Memory Box: Chloe Stem
LOTV Sentiment Tags
Diamond Stickles

Obviously we must have had a sunny day when I made this card as the photo was taken outside!!!!
Doesn't look like much chance of that here today - but at least it's dry :o)

Maybe it's just as well the sun isn't out to play as I still have so much to do with the Wedding stuff - and only 4 weeks left to go!!!!!
This week I have made the Order of the Day cards, the table numbers and made a start on the place cards and the table plan. Next week I plan to finish decorating the birdcages for the tables and make some 'Thank You' bunting.

But today I plan to have fun with my squidgilicious Grandson Oliver who will be here to play this morning - not many play days left before he starts school next week :o(

Challenges I would like to enter:

Crafty Girls Creations - Anything Goes
In the Pink - Fly Away
Crafting By Designs - Things with Wings

Take Your Pick at Papertake Weekly

Good evening my lovely crafty friends - long time no see!!!

Hope you are well and had a wonderful weekend.

I am still keeping super busy here - last week I finished my latest magazine commission - a Masterclass this time and I was so nervous but hopefully it will be ok - fingers crossed :o)

Last week also saw Jamie & Rowena move into their new house - hopefully the last one for a number of years this time as they have moved 3 times in the last 3 years!!!!

And finally last week we celebrated Jack's fantastic GCSE results:
3A* - Maths, Chemistry and English Literature
4A  - Physics, French English Language and Art
4B - Business Studies, Psychology, Biology and Computing
We are all so very proud of him.

Anyway the real reason I'm here is to share my DT make for the new challenge over at

I treated myself to these Stampin' Up snowflake and sentiment stamps recently from someone on FB and I love them. I will definitely be making more of this design in various colours and they are perfect for postage as they are totally flat :o)

To Die For at Papertake Weekly

Good afternoon my lovely crafty friends.
Thank you for all the lovely Anniversary wishes left yesterday, here and on Facebook.
I had a lovely day and we had a fabulous meal in the evening.

Today I have been to visit my cousin who is in Bristol for a few days and had a lovely lunch - I will have to put some extra effort into my runs the rest of this week to burn off the extra calories!!!

So today we have a new challenge for you over at:

and this week the theme is

TO DIE FOR

Simply include a die cut on your project pr even make your base card from a die.

It's quite scary the number of dies I have now accumulated - the hardest decision was which one to use - so I opted for one of my newest and this is what I came up with:

Sending Love To..........................

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Hope you are well and those not I wish well soon.

18 years ago today was one of the happiest days of my life ever as I became Mrs Debbie Simpson.
I love this man with all my heart and soul and he is without doubt my reason for living.
I am so looking forward to growing old with him.
I don't even mind ironing his shirts - and ironing has never been my favourite chore!!!
So today I would like to share a simple card I made to celebrate our 18 years of love and marriage.
For those in the know a traditional 18th Wedding Anniversary is 'Garnet' - hence the colours:
Unfortunately my DH has to work today - but he is working from home and we have a romantic meal for two this evening to look forward to :o)

I'll be back tomorrow with my DT share for Papertake Weekly.

Thanks for popping by to see me today and for all your continued support.

Have a fabulous day.

Spots and/or Stripes

Good evening my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend and that your week has got off to a good start.

I had a great day out on Saturday at the Great British Craft Festival with my beautiful friend Claire - it was so good to see you lovely lady and it was also great to see our lovely Dawny :o)

The rest of my time since I last posted has been spent working on things for Jamie and Rowena's Wedding - now just over 6 weeks to go!!!!

I am also pleased to report that my new fitness regime is going well - not ready to run a marathon yet - but so far so good!!!  Thank you for all your best wishes and concerns about my dodgy ankle - I bought a strap and so far no problems - phew!!!

So today we have a new challenge for you over

and this week the theme is

SPOTS AND/OR STRIPES

As our sponsor is the lovely Jill from

I thought I would use some scummy Hobby House goodies to make my DT card

Today's the Day!!!

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

Well today is the day I start my new health and exercise regime in the hope that I can shift some pounds before Jamie and Rowena's wedding at the end of next month.

Hopefully by the time you are reading this I will have survived my first running session and will be on my way to spend the rest of the day with my beautiful Granddaughters - Lola Arizona and Ruby Mae.

Before I head off though I would just like to share a project I made for a friend of Aaron's who got married at the weekend - I made one for Aaron and Kerry last year and they loved it so much they wanted one to give as their wedding gift.

I was so thrilled with how this turned out - the colours were the colours of the wedding and the initials are the Bride & Groom and their two children.

Not so happy with the quality of the photos - maybe should have left the glass out of the frame before taking the shot so you didn't see my refection!!!

Super thrilled to report the happy couple loved it love though and even got a bit emotional!!!

Super quick post from me as I now need to be getting into my running gear - my heart's pounding already!!!

Catch up with you all later.
Have a fabulous day.

Anything Goes at Papertake Weekly - Optional 'Torn Paper'

Good afternoon my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

It was so lovely to see a bit of sunshine so for me most of my weekend was spent in the garden and I'll share some photos of the latest garden project at the end of this post.

I'm also thrilled to report that 'most' of the fence has now been painted - including the side that has never been done since we moved into our house 13 years ago!!!
That was the side my DH had promised to do as I had done the other two sides and the front but 13 years on and he never did keep his promise :o(
Well you know what they say - if you want something doing best get on and do it yourself!!!

Anyway the real reason I'm here is because it's Tuesday and that means it's time for my DT share for the new challenge over at

PAPERTAKE WEEKLY

and as this is the first Tuesday of the month it's our usual

ANYTHING GOES

theme with the OPTIONAL theme of

TORN PAPER

I opted out of the torn paper - not really my thing but I did use my favourite LOTV wedding image to  make a matching Wedding Day card and box for my MiL's church to give to a couple next month
and our sponsor the week is the fabulous

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the gorgeous inspiration from my DT buddies.
